South African media company, Planet Image Productions unveiled their new state-of-the-art studios in Randburg at an event held 19 April 2013. The opening comes as the company prepares to officially launch Africa’s First RadioTV, Planet RadioTV (PRTV) and propel its flagship show, “Good Morning Africa’, to new heights.

The opening ceremony availed the studios to select invitees and media for a tour and a debriefing on the new PRTV channel and “Good Morning Africa’. The new PRTV studios comprise of Automated Camera Switching, Voice detection systems, and Virtual set Controls.

“We are thrilled to be launching the brand new PRTV and Good Morning Africa studios. PRTV has always been a fresh, vibrant and innovative concept that has blossomed in the last few years to include more than 48,000 viewers/listeners from across Africa as part of the PRTV family,’ said Wale Akinlabi, CEO of Planet Image.

“Our new studios reflect our growth as a company and fit in perfectly with the long-awaited launch of the PRTV channel to be seen very soon on satellite TV.
