At InfoComm China 2018 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, which will be held on 5-7 September 2018, the SDVoE™ Alliance will offer training sessions focusing on Ethernet as the transport for AV signals in professional AV environments and the ecosystem around the SDVoE platform which allows software to define AV applications.

The sessions will be presented by Holden Guo of NETGEAR, an SDVoE Alliance founding member company.

“AV-over-IP has a long history in China, with many well-developed solutions already on the market featuring high compression and high latency performance,” said Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “We are excited to showcase the quality of the SDVoE AV-over-IP platform in China and to demonstrate how integrators and end users can enjoy the flexibility and scalability of Ethernet while benefitting from the performance of a matrix switch – 4K video without compromise, without latency, and without image artefacts.”

Attendees to the SDVoE Alliance sessions will learn what they need to know to leverage the SDVoE standard for high performance AV network deployments in education, healthcare, enterprise, entertainment, hospitality, retail, houses of worship, government, military, industry and security.
