Copper Bar is one of Johannesburg’s premium rooftop function venues, situated in the
heart Bryanston.
Copper Bar is the brainchild of owner Anthea Knowles and celebrates the magic of
being out in the open air, enjoying drinks and music with friends whilst looking out as
the sun disappears behind the majestic Magaliesberg mountain range. They are a
private event venue only open to the public on Thursday evenings via their Thursday
guest list tab.
Surgesound was commissioned to install a system that would have consistent pattern
control in the four zone-controlled areas. This enabled audio levels to be controlled
and monitored so as not to disturb any nearby residents.
EAW SMS4990 loudspeakers were chosen for this installation and, meeting all the
requirements, its sleek finish, high power output and specific dispersion angles met
the criteria for this upmarket venue.
