The South African Roadies Association (SARA) has announced that Linkin Park’s Production Manager and Director of Touring, Jim Digby will be visiting SARA House in Newtown , Johannesburg this week. Digby’s visit, which takes place on the 8 November, is intended to provide production knowledge and skills with SARA students.
Digby, who is a highly skilled in international concert production and a high profile corporate event producer, is also a specialist in team building for touring projects. In addition he also has expertise on ethical touring models that minimize the ecological impact.
The Linkin Park Production Manager will be joined by representatives from his audio, video, lighting, and backline teams to provide a well-rounded representation of the inner workings of their systems.
In a statement, SARA stated that Digby’s visit is a milestone that provides many exceptional opportunities. The company said: “The visit by Jim Digby will aid in encouraging and supporting technical and production knowledge and skills development within the South African technical and production industry, especially for young people.’
