As an Appalooza exhibitor at the upcoming Macworld/iWorld 2013 show, the Crestron Mobile Pro® app has been selected to take the spotlight on the Macworld/iWorld 2013 Facebook® page. As one of only 10 “apps-of-the-day”, Mobile Pro will be vying against other Appalooza exhibitors for the title of “iFan Favorite App.” This prestigious award will be determined by a fan vote on the Macworld Facebook page from now until January 19th.

Crestron will demonstrate its mobile control solutions for thousands of Apple® fans during Macworld. The Crestron Mobile Pro app gives customers complete control over their home or workplace. Customers can turn on TVs, dim lights, adjust the thermostats, and much more – all from their iPhone® or iPad® anytime, anywhere. With one app and a Crestron control system, they’re in complete control.

“We’re thrilled to demonstrate our Mobile Pro app for the second year in a row at Macworld,” says Sean Goldstein, Crestron VP of Marketing. “We received tremendous feedback from attendees about our app, and look forward to even more success at this year’s show.”

Crestron captivated the 2012 Macworld audience with a refreshed mobile GUI and hands-on demonstration of its Mobile Pro app, using simulated home, boardroom and classroom environments to control entertainment systems, lighting, shades, multi-room audio/video, heating/cooling, and security systems. This year, the simulation will include more features, graphics, and environments.

Appalooza, one of the most popular areas of the show floor, features developers showcasing hundreds of the latest creations for everything from productivity, gaming and IT to education, music making, photography, and much more, all built for the iPad®, iPhone® and MacBook®.

Macworld/iWorld will take place January 31-February 2, 2013, at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco.

“Nowhere else can you learn about a new app directly from the person who created it, or try out your favorites before you hit ‘buy’ on the App Store. This is where apps come to life,” said Paul Kent, Vice President and General Manager of Macworld/iWorld.
