CHAUVET® Professional’s world famous NEXUS™ 4×4 LED display fixture has been nominated for a 2013 Parnelli Indispensable Technology Award, to be decided at the 2013 LDI Show in Las Vegas, NV November 22-24, 2013.

The Nexus™ 4×4 LED display fixture, nominated by submissions to the Parnelli Awards advisory board, has become a mainstay in LED lighting in broadcast television and concert touring across the world. “We are honored to be nominated for the 2013 Parnelli Indispensable Technology Award again this year,’ said Albert Chauvet, President for Chauvet. “This nomination confirms Nexus’ place in the broadcast and touring industries, and we are honored to receive a nomination again this year.’

Parnelli Awards voting is open to the readership of Production, Lights, and Staging News Magazine and FOH Magazine, two of the industry’s most read journals, and closes October 31, 2013.

Nexus™ 4×4 is a bold, tour-ready wash light delivering at once the sizzle of a pixel mapping display and a robust light output afforded by 16 27-watt RGB COB LEDs. The combination of COB emitters and a clever reflector design yields a striking, diffused light richly drenched in saturated hues. “These panels allow for great versatility with their bright RGB LEDs and the pixel-mapping capabilities. Nexus 4×4 is an awesome fixture with tons of options for uses,’ says Erik Parker, lighting director for One Republic.

Nexus™ 4×4 is controllable via Art-Net, Kling-Net and DMX protocols and features interlocking hardware to build large arrays. Whether in use for front viewing or as a backdrop, Nexus™ 4×4 promises a hard-to-match visual impact. “When we were testing the booth for the first time at PRG, everybody came out to have a look; that says a lot for me,’ says Tiesto Creative Director Koen De Puysseleir. “Thanks, Chauvet, for making one of the best new LED products I have seen in a while.”
