An industrial building has been converted to a three-room live music venue in Leiden, Holland.

This new venue known as “de Nobel’, named after the previous owners, is a government-owned music centre and operated by the Leiden Leisure Centre (LVC). TM Audio was responsible for carrying out the sound system installation, and were contracted based on their capability to provide premium brands, including Martin Audio, which they represent in the Netherlands.

This unique venue features two main live rooms, which can cater for 300 to 700 people along with a small cafe stage for acoustic singer songwriters. Both rooms are equipped with a Martin Audio sound system. The main room features 10 x W8LCi Compact line array elements and six S218+ recommended as offering the best combination of price and specification. The system is driven by Powersoft amps.

In Hall 2, flown Martin Audio Blackline H3+ tops are complemented by S218+ subs with Martin Audio WT2 compact theatre system enclosures providing infill duties for both halls.

The Martin Audio Blackline range again remained the series of choice for the cafe. The set-up comprises a F15+ and S18+ sub, while Powersoft amps and an Allen & Heath mixer will be designated as part of the portable system within the complex.
