Prosound supported the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown with audio and
lighting equipment and expertise.
Its lighting crew set up ETC LED Source Four Profiles and ETC EOS Consoles in
Vicky’s Theatre, Guy Butler Theatre, Victoria Theatre and St Andrews Theatre.
Fixtures included ETC Colour Source Four LED Pars in Vicky’s and Source Four LED
Profiles Front of House. Theatre technicians were introduced to the ETC GIO, ION
and Element Consoles and enjoyed the flexibility it gave them to set up lighting
designs for everything from cabaret performances to puppetry shows.
The Recreation Hall is a bold venue with theatre-style seats for a variety of plays,
choirs and dance performances. It is kitted out with a full Electro-Voice sponsorship,
namely EV’s TOURX 1122 as MID HI and EV’s SB122 Subs running off EV Qseries
amps and a DCONE. EV mics N/D767a, Polar choice and N/D478 with a PV20 mixer
at FOH and Electro-Voice’s TX 1122FM as stage monitors finish the setup.
The Graham Hotel is hosting small intimate acoustic sessions and performances,
with Audio-Technica vocal microphones, specifically the ATM710, ATM610, PRO61
and AT2020 handheld with Prosound’s own GS-121CP Maestro speakers.
